Summary of Role
Element Science is building a world class medical device hardware design team. We are looking
for people with a passion for creating devices that save lives. The Senior PCB Layout Designer
will work with electrical and mechanical engineers to create layout for designs that include
sensitive analog circuits and sensors, microprocessors, power, and high voltage electronics on
multi-layer rigid flex and rigid printed circuit boards (PCB) assemblies. Responsibilities include
floor-planning, translating schematics to compact layout, meeting medical device standards and
safety with high reliability, and creating and maintaining component library. If you have a
proven track record of delivering robust, safety critical, electronic designs we would love to talk
to you.

studies - Translation of schematics to layout
on highly integrated electrical /
mechanical designs for class III
medical device - Prototype, product, & test PCB
fabrication files including Gerbers,
fab & assembly drawings - Creation and maintenance of design
rule checks - Creation and maintenance of
component library of symbols,
footprints, templates
Qualifications:
- 7+ years PCB layout design
